Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has once again stressed the need for unity and cohesion at home, as well as interactions, trade, and cooperation with regional countries to overcome challenges. Pezeshkian made the remarks on the sidelines of a Saturday visit to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), when reporters asked him about the most important concern for his government.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of following the vision outlined by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, which aims for Iran to achieve the top position in economy, science, industry, and culture within the region. He highlighted that effective interaction with regional countries could negate the impact of U.S. sanctions, empowering Iran to face external pressures with strength, dignity, and pride.
The president noted that to realize this vision, the involvement of entrepreneurs, industrialists, scientists, elites, and managers is crucial. He also mentioned the importance of strengthening relations with neighboring countries, similar to the commitments Iran holds with China and Russia in organizations such as Eurasia, BRICS, and Shanghai.
Addressing concerns about inflation and economic challenges, Pezeshkian stated that his government is prioritizing solutions to improve the livelihood of the Iranian people. He emphasized that resolving economic issues requires a 'scientific solution' and domestic unity, rather than engaging in blame games.
