Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended his congratulations to Muslim nations and governments on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. In a message issued on Wednesday, the Iranian president described Ramadan as an opportunity for self-improvement and spiritual purification.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian emphasized the social message of the holy month, highlighting unity and solidarity among Muslims. He urged attentiveness to the issues facing the Islamic community and called for cooperation and synergy to address them.

President Pezeshkian also expressed hope that Muslim nations would seize Ramadan as an opportunity to strengthen unity, realize the ideals of Islam, and enhance cooperation. He noted the importance of countering divisions and plots by bullying powers that seek to create tensions among nations through war and aggression.
