Tehran:President Masoud Pezeshkian has returned to Tehran following his participation in two significant international summits held in Turkmenistan.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian attended the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Environmental Summit of the Heads of Caspian Sea Littoral States. His visit included meetings with influential leaders, such as the presidents of Russia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan, as well as the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
During the summits, President Pezeshkian delivered speeches addressing various regional challenges and underscored the importance of fostering multilateral relations and countering unilateralism. He emphasized cooperation in energy and discussed political, economic, social, and security issues relevant to the region.
