Qalibaf Extends Ramadan Greetings to Islamic Parliament Speakers

Tehran: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has extended his congratulations to his counterparts in Islamic countries as the holy month of Ramadan begins. In a message addressed to the parliament speakers of Muslim countries on Thursday, Qalibaf expressed his greetings for the arrival of this significant spiritual period.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Qalibaf highlighted the holy month of Ramadan as a valuable opportunity to bolster noble human values, enhance the solidarity of the Ummah, and promote both peace and spirituality. He further emphasized the importance of fostering deeper consultation and cooperation among Islamic nations during this time.

Qalibaf underscored the pressing need for convergence, empathy, and effective parliamentary collaboration within the Islamic world, especially in the current sensitive climate. He stressed the importance of these efforts in confronting challenges, defending the rights of Muslim nations, and supporting oppressed communities, particularly the people of Palestine.

Expressing his aspirations, Qalibaf conveyed hope that the blessings of Ramadan would facilitate the strengthening of brotherly relations among the parliaments of Islamic countries.
