Qassim University advanced 200 positions in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, reaching the 601st spot globally, marking a new international achievement for the university. Over the past three years, Qassim University has made a significant leap in the international ranking, advancing 400 places in 2024 to reach the 801-1,000 range, compared to its position in 2023, when it ranked between 1,201-1,500. Qassim University first entered the ranking in 2021, after competing in five key criteria -- teaching, research environment, quality of research output, industry engagement, and international outlook -- and 18 sub-indicators. The university has excelled in these fields compared to many other universities in the ranking. It continues to progress in various major international university rankings, in line with its strategic goals of enhancing its global standing, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
