Quds Force Chief Asserts US and Israel Will Exit Region Without Gains

Tehran: Chief Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Esmaeil Qa'ani, has emphasized that the United States and Israel will depart the region without achieving their objectives.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Qa'ani highlighted the strong presence of the united Resistance Front across the region, prepared to confront what he described as the enemies of humanity. He pointed out that both the US and Israel had previously withdrawn without success from areas like Yemen, Bab el-Mandeb, and the Red Sea.

Qa'ani reiterated his assertion that the US and Israeli forces would eventually leave the region empty-handed. His statements come in the aftermath of a joint US-Israeli operation against Iran on January 28, 2026, which led to Iran launching retaliatory strikes against their positions.

Despite 40 days of conflict and a ceasefire proposal brokered by Pakistan, talks between Iranian and US delegations in Islamabad did not yield significant progress. However, Iran continues to express willingness for diplomatic engagement.
