Karbala Police Command announced that the river police recovered the body of a drowned man in one of the governorate's rivers. Karbala Police Media said, "As part of the ongoing efforts of the Karbala Police Command, the diving unit affiliated with the River Police Department in the Police Command was able to recover the body of a drowned man in one of the governorate's rivers." It added that the police "after receiving a call from police operations that there was a drowning accident for a citizen, the diving squad moved to the scene of the accident and recovered the body of a young man who was swimming in one of the rivers in the Kamaliya area."
