King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) said intermediate and secondary stage Saudi students may start registering for the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) 2025. Registration is open until September 30. The event is held in partnership with the Ministry of Education. One scientific project from 22 areas of national priority must be submitted. The Olympiad goes through six organizational stages: registering students and holding lectures to train both students and supervisors; uploading project information to the Mawhiba website; the electronic arbitration of projects by academics and specialists, done according to specific scientific criteria, and announcing the names of candidates to participate in local exhibitions; organizing the exhibitions and training workshops in four cities and announcing the finalists; holding the Ibdaa Science and Engineering Fair; and qualifying students to participate in the Regeneron International Science and Engin eering Fair (ISEF), which will take place in the US.
