Tehran:Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to visit Tehran on Monday, as part of ongoing high-level consultations between Iran and Russia. This announcement was made by Iranian Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jalali highlighted that the upcoming visit follows a recent meeting between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Awaza, Turkmenistan. This meeting marked the third encounter between the two leaders in the span of a month.

The ambassador stressed that the collaboration between Tehran and Moscow extends beyond their bilateral agenda and includes discussions on regional and international issues. He noted that the partnership is based on a shared commitment to maintain peace, stability, and security in their regions, without interference from external powers.
