Jeddah: The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, met with his Iranian counterpart, Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Sheikh Al-Islami, at the headquarters of the Saudi delegation in the Jeddah Governorate. The meeting took place at the branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Makkah Region. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the representatives discussed various topics of mutual interest, focusing on issues concerning the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its bodies. The dialogue underscored the pivotal role of the organization, which is the second largest multilateral governmental body worldwide, following the United Nations. The discussions also highlighted the organization's importance in addressing contemporary global challenges.
