Saudi students Adeeb Al-Shehri and Ahmed Al-Hashem achieved notable success at this year's International Olympiad in Informatics, held in Alexandria, Egypt, between September 1 and 8, earning bronze medals. The competition drew 364 participants from 96 countries. Representing the Kingdom was a team of four students selected through a strategic partnership of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), the Ministry of Education, and Elm Company. The students competed individually, tackling programming challenges and demonstrating their skills in algorithm design, data structures, and testing. The International Informatics Olympiad is an annual competition for high school students from all over the world.
