Riyadh: The Saudi Consulate General in Houston has urged all Saudi citizens residing in the US state of Texas to exercise maximum caution regarding Storm Beryl, follow local authorities' instructions, and communicate with the consulate via emergency phones if necessary. The National Hurricane Center in America explained that the powerful storm "Beryl" turned into a hurricane as it approached the Texas coast near Houston, carrying maximum wind speeds of 120 kilometers per hour. In turn, airlines in the United States cancelled more than 1,300 flights on Monday following the broadcast of the latest news of the storm. Source: Saudi Press Agency
