The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Microsoft have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster innovation in generative artificial intelligence in Saudi Arabia. The agreement was signed during the third edition of the Global AI Summit, which is currently being held in Riyadh at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center-a group of leading experts and scientists in the field are participating in the event. The MoU outlines partnership areas, including the launch of the Microsoft AI Academy in collaboration with the SDAIA Academy. The goal is to build national AI capabilities through various joint programs, including the Microsoft Azure Professional Certificate Program, which will equip national talent with globally recognized professional certifications.
