The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) will hold a news conference on Sunday, September 8, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center to review the key aspects of the third annual Global AI Summit. The summit, scheduled for September 10-12, will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and SDAIA Board of Directors Chairman. It will feature more than 300 speakers and will be attended by thought leaders, policymakers, international officials, and artificial intelligence (AI) experts from 100 countries. SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, National Information Center Director Dr. Esam Alwagait, and SDAIA National Center for AI CEO Dr. Yaser Al-Onaizan will speak at the news conference. It will address the importance of the Global AI Summit and its key aspects and impact on advancing human societies amid the rapid development of AI technologies. It will also cover the impact of AI on economic growth worldwide, the emergence of new sectors and industries, how to leverage AI to meet the needs of our rapidly changing world, responsible AI use, Saudi Arabia's role in promoting AI ethics globally, and the challenges and opportunities associated with AI.
