Doha: The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a massive surprise attack on the US 'Al Udeid' air base in Qatar, resulting in the destruction of a long-range radar system and several strategic US refueling aircraft. Additional aircraft have reportedly been severely damaged in the attack.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC issued its 24th statement on Friday, warning the American forces and their regional allies that crossing red lines and targeting civilians or non-military infrastructure would incur significant repercussions. The statement underscores the strategic and tactical implications of the attack for US operations in the region.
