Kurtulmus added that the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, which is likely to extend to Lebanon, and if the Israeli aggression cannot be stopped, I fear that the world will be dragged into major regional and global conflicts. He pointed out that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "and his gang continue their aggression and do not hesitate to commit all kinds of crimes because they enjoy unlimited support from some Western countries, especially the United States of Amer ica." For his part, Holonia expressed his hope that his visit would lead to the beginning of a new era in relations between the parliaments of the two countries. He said that his country wants to diversify cooperation with Turkey in the fields of tourism, education and economy.
