The special committee formed to study the policy statement of the new government continues to hold meetings on Saturday 13/7/2024 to answer questions on the government's program. The committee is expected to listen to ministers of labor, higher education, education, social solidarity, health and population and youth and sports and in presence of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Legal Affairs and Political Communication Mahmoud Fawzi. The committee that was formed in the House of Representatives includes 42 parliamentarians. The committee is keen on reviewing the program presented by the government and the program's commitment to the directives of the president to meet the aspirations of the Egyptians and achieve better level of services presented to citizens. It is also paying a greater attention to tackle how to urgently face hike in prices, regulate markets and limit inflation along with ending the problem of electricity cut. As well, participants are discussing ways of attracting internal and extern al investments and deepening local industry, in addition to facing regional challenges.
