A joint security force has launched a security operation south of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "A force from the Diyala Police has begun implementing a security operation within the Buhraz sector, south of Baqubah." He added: "The operation included searching the areas of the Bahraz near the edge of the banks of the Diyala River, and the orchards of the village of Duwaib, south of Baqubah, in order to prevent terrorist cells from finding a safe haven in the orchards of the Bahraz district."
