The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Annan, ways of cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of investment. During his meeting with the ambassador, the governor affirmed: 'Holy Karbala has great factors and components that qualify it to be the ideal environment for investment.' He explained: 'The great security stability, in addition to the increasing number of visitors annually, the local government's full support for investing companies, and the full provision of facilities, are all factors that make the Holy Governorate of Karbala the ideal environment for investment,' offering an invitation to Turkish companies to work and invest in the governorate, whether on the industrial or financial level, health and other areas. For his part, the Turkish ambassador said: 'The Holy Governorate of Karbala is today one of the beautiful governorates and enjoys its beautiful streets and entrances, in addition to its importance, and this is what calls us to visit it continuously and open work horizons with its local government.
