Palestinian media circulated a picture of leaflets dropped by the Israeli army on Gaza City calling on residents of the Gaza City areas to move south and describing it as a 'dangerous combat zone.' The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said, "Thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip were forced to flee without knowing their destination."
