Baghdad , The National Security Council held its twelfth session for the year 2024 today, Tuesday, headed by National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji, and in the presence of the council members. The council discussed, according to the Chencellry statement, the topics on the agenda, and took the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them. The council also discussed the mechanism for examining chemical materials at border crossings, and the contexts related to this regard were approved. The council also discussed a draft memorandum of understanding for security cooperation for the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, and took the appropriate decision regarding it.
