Palestinian sources announced that the number of martyred journalists has risen to 177 journalists since the beginning of the genocide war on the Gaza Strip, after the assassination of journalist colleague: Ayman Muhammad Ruwaished. The government media office in Gaza condemned in the strongest terms the targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Zionist occupation, holding the occupation fully responsible for committing this heinous crime. It called on the international community, international organizations and those related to journalistic work in the world to deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes and pressure it to stop the crime of genocide, and stop the crime of killing and assassinating Palestinian journalists.
