A force from the 31st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces overthrew a prominent promoter of the banned Baath Party in Salah al-Din. The Popular Mobilization Authority stated in a statement that a force from the Intelligence of the 31st Brigade within the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in cooperation with the National Security Service, was able to overthrow a prominent promoter of the banned Baath Party in Baiji District in Salah al-Din Governorate. It added that this came during a security operation and after following up and obtaining judicial approvals, as the force was able to arrest a prominent member and promoter of the banned Baath Party and publish publications aimed at inciting sedition among members of society in Salah al-Din Governorate.
