Istanbul The Communications Department of the Turkish Presidency issued a book entitled 'Our Cause is Palestine,' in which it documented the ongoing human tragedy in the Gaza Strip and Turkey's efforts to put an end to the injustice of the Israeli occupation taking place there. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who wrote the introduction to the book, stated that 'Palestine witnessed the greatest tragedies over the years, and experienced indescribable tears and pain,' pointing at the same time to Turkey's diplomatic efforts to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, and the humanitarian aid it provides to the Palestinian people. The book was published in Turkish, English and Arabic, and consists of seven chapters. The first deals with the historical background of the Palestinian issue, the second on the genocide that Israel began on October 7th, and the third on the civilians who lost their lives as a result of Israel's attacks. While the fourth chapter dealt with the statements of Palestinian and Israeli off icials throughout the months of genocide, the fifth chapter dealt with the position of the international community on the Palestinian issue, and the sixth chapter reviewed how the local and international media dealt with Israeli barbarism, and finally, the last chapter dealt with Turkey's efforts to support the Palestinian cause and the Turkish President's initiatives to bring peace. Regarding the book, the head of the Communications Department in the Turkish Presidency, Fakhr al-Din Altun, affirmed Ankara's permanent position 'on the side of the oppressed, and conveying the voice of truth and justice in the just cause of Palestine in all forums,' noting that the book '(Our Cause is Palestine) documents this truth and Turkey's efforts.' Israel has continued its devastating war on Gaza since October 7, despite two UN Security Council resolutions to stop it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and to take measures to prevent acts of 'genocide' and improve the dire humanitarian situation in the Strip./ End Source: National Iraqi News Agency
