Tehran: Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Brigadier General Esmaeil Qa'ani stated that the 'third imposed war' on Iran discredited the United States and accelerated the process of the Israeli regime's collapse. He was referring to the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran that commenced on February 28 with the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, lasting for 40 days.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Qa'ani emphasized the historical roots of the Axis of Resistance in a recent interview. He highlighted that the Axis traces its origins back to the early years of the Islamic Revolution when Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, ordered the formation of resistance nuclei worldwide. These nuclei eventually evolved into resistance movements, forming the Axis of Resistance, which has been a significant concern for the United States, Global Arrogance, and the Zionist regime from the beginning until today.

The IRGC Quds Force commander pointed out that Washington and Israel understand that the Axis of Resistance is the only force that consistently confronts them under challenging circumstances without retreating. He cited recent developments since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as evidence of this reality. Despite intense pressure, destruction, and crimes in Palestine and Lebanon, resistance groups remain steadfast and have not withdrawn from the battlefield, a fact that has alarmed their adversaries.

Qa'ani further explained that the United States and Israel miscalculated the resolve of resistance movements, believing the war would weaken them. However, these movements independently decided to take the initiative in the battle against America to prevent the Islamic Republic from facing difficulties. This decision, Qa'ani stressed, was made by the groups themselves without external prompting.
