Moscow: Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, has asserted that US President Donald Trump cannot achieve through negotiations what he failed to secure through military means. Jalali's comments came during an interview with the Russian newspaper Vedomosti, where he emphasized the essence of negotiations as reaching a fair compromise rooted in a win-win approach.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jalali highlighted that the United States has become familiar with Iran's stance and conditions, acknowledging its inability to overpower the Islamic Republic through military action. Despite this realization, he underscored that Tehran maintains unwavering red lines that it will not cross.

Addressing the US president's remarks about a naval blockade of Iran, Jalali dismissed the notion as meaningless. He assured that Iran is resolute in its determination to take necessary actions to safeguard its security and national interests.

The ambassador further criticized Trump's demands for Iran to comply with his dictates through negotiations, arguing that such an approach does not constitute true negotiation. Jalali reiterated that genuine negotiations involve both parties reaching a fair compromise based on mutual benefit.
