U.S. Airstrikes on Yemen Result in Casualties and Destruction

Sana'a: The United States' warplanes targeted several locations in Yemen, leading to 12 fatalities and leaving 30 individuals injured. The airstrikes heavily impacted the Sana'a and Marib governorates, along with Kamaran Island.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, American aircraft launched an assault on the Farwa district and its market in Sana'a, causing significant damage to residential and commercial properties. The intensity of the attack was reported by Yemen's Al Masirah TV network, which highlighted the destruction of houses and business centers.

In addition to the attacks in Sana'a, the U.S. fighter jets bombed a local market in the Shu'ub district, situated in the heart of the city. The Marib Governorate experienced multiple airstrikes, with American warplanes targeting the Al Jubah district three times.

Kamaran Island, the largest Yemeni island in the Red Sea, was also subjected to U.S. airstrikes on several occasions. While specific targets or casualties from these attacks remain unreported, it is confirmed that the airstrikes on the island early Sunday resulted in three deaths and left four people wounded.

The U.S. initiated these airstrikes on March 15, 2025, as a measure to support the Israeli regime. In response, the Yemeni army declared its intent to persist with missile and drone attacks against Israeli-occupied territories and ships associated with the regime and its allies in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean.
