According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the video, released by Khamenei.ir, features the late Leader discussing the origins of Unity Week. In the footage, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasizes that Islamic unity is not a superficial gesture but a fundamental principle, urging the Muslim world to present a united front against the common American-Zionist enemy. Ayatollah Khamenei also highlights that supporting both Shia and Sunni resistance movements is an equal religious duty and obligation. The release of the footage coincides with this year's Islamic Unity Week, which marks the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
