Tehran:The United States has been expelled from Iraq and has suffered a humiliating defeat against Iran, according to Brigadier General Esmaeil Qa'ani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Qa'ani made these remarks on Thursday during a ceremony in Tehran commemorating the second anniversary of the martyrdom of leaders of the Lebanese Resistance, including Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine. He stated that Iran's military victories and the active presence of the Iranian people signify the beginning of a new era in resistance. Qa'ani noted that the Americans believed they could force Iran to surrender within a short timeframe, but the reality proved vastly different. He emphasized that despite the US possessing vast resources, they have been expelled from Iraq, a victory celebrated by the Iraqi people due to their resistance. He also mentioned that the Resistance Front is advancing, catchi ng the enemy by surprise through strategic planning. In the context of Yemen, Qa'ani highlighted that Yemeni resistance forces had seized significant territory and were poised to capture additional areas. Qa'ani stressed the importance of Muslim unity and support for oppressed peoples, advocating for the strengthening of a 'belt of defense, independence, and dignity' stretching from Afghanistan to Yemen and from Iran to Gaza and Lebanon. He praised Hezbollah's resilience, noting that the Israeli regime had suffered unprecedented casualties. The path of the Resistance Front continues with honor and pride, inspired by the legacy of its martyrs, according to Qa'ani.
