Karaj: Vice President for Legal Affairs Majid Ansari says the enemies have misjudged the Iranian nation, which has achieved significant progress despite sanctions and restrictions.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Vice President stated, “The enemies think they can bring the Iranian nation to its knees through sanctions and pressure, while we have a nation that turns imposed sanctions into a source of pride and accomplishes great things.” He made these remarks on Monday during his visit to the construction site of a major highway project in the city of Karaj, near the capital, Tehran, as part of the Administration Week (August 24-30) celebrations.
Ansari emphasized that the Islamic Republic is now on a path of further growth, thanks to the resilience of the Iranian people. He noted that adversaries have inadvertently contributed to the nation’s growth, as Iran has found ways to overcome existing pressures and sanctions. “The adversaries have, in fact, helped the Iranian nation grow,” he added, highlighting the country’s ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
In addition to discussing domestic achievements, the Vice President addressed international concerns, stating that Iran is pursuing legal measures in response to the June acts of aggression by Israel and the United States. These measures aim to uphold the rights of the Iranian people. The conflict began on June 13, when Israel launched attacks that resulted in more than 1,000 casualties over a 12-day period. The United States joined the conflict on June 22, targeting three of Iran’s nuclear sites. Iran has responded strongly to both aggressors, reinforcing its stance on defending national sovereignty and security.
