By the end of 2024, the United States has also pledged to supply the Polish Armed Forces with eight of the earlier AH-64D helicopters as aircrew training facilities. The agr eement for the sale of 96 Apache helicopters was reached on March 12, during the visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to the United States. On July 24, Deputy Head of the Armaments Directorate of the Polish Ministry of Defense Robert Fromholz announced that Warsaw will receive the first batch of helicopters by the end of this year.
