The "Year of The Camel" pavilion, one of the initiatives with which the Ministry of Culture participates in Almadinah Book Fair this year, has attracted visitors due to the unique cultural meaning camels have for the lives of the people of the Arabian Peninsula, for the Saudi identity. The pavilion is a journey through time; it invites visitors to contemplate and reflect on the role camels play in the Saudi society. The pavilion also showcases the "Camel Sculpture", a fascinating relic from the Neolithic era, a time when the bond between camels and the people of the Arabian Peninsula was already strong.
