Yemeni Foreign Ministry Vows Retaliation Against Saudi Aggression

Sanaa:Yemeni Foreign Ministry The Yemeni Foreign Ministry has declared its intention to respond reciprocally to recent Saudi military actions, which include attacks and an ongoing blockade against Yemen. The Ministry emphasized the importance of resistance and retaliatory measures to counteract what it describes as illegal Saudi actions.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Ministry's statement, reported by the Lebanese Al Mayadeen network, underscored Saudi Arabia's violations of Yemeni sovereignty and airspace. It highlighted the need for a reciprocal response to these continued assaults.

The Ministry denounced the ongoing Saudi attacks on the Yemeni capital and other regions. It called on Yemeni armed forces to take legitimate action to stop the aggression, which has resulted in significant casualties and destruction since Saudi Arabia resumed its attacks.

This response was issued shortly after Saudi airstrikes targeted areas in Sanaa and Saada, impacting telecommunications networks in the Haydan and Saqin districts.

Additionally, the Yemeni Health Ministry reported that Saudi airstrikes struck near the Al-Sabeen Hospital for Women, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics, causing extensive damage to the healthcare facility.
