Moscow: Aleksandr Dugin, a Russian philosopher and thinker, has emphasized the role of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as not merely a religious figure but an intellectual statesman and a warrior. Under his leadership, Iran stood against the West and emerged victorious.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in an interview conducted in Moscow, Dugin expressed his solidarity with the Iranian nation and described Ayatollah Khamenei's era of struggle as culminating in his martyrdom. Although Dugin apologized for his absence from the farewell and funeral ceremonies, he extended his condolences to the Iranian nation for their profound loss.
Dugin remarked that Ayatollah Khamenei's martyrdom has opened a path to immortality for both himself and the Iranian nation. He stated that Khamenei's life was fruitful, with a mission culminating in his heroic death. Dugin also pointed to the potential shifts in regional and global dynamics, referencing the illegal US-Israeli conflicts and Iran's ability to withstand such powers.
Dugin expressed sorrow over the bloodshed in Iran caused by aggressive regimes and highlighted the sacrifices of the Iranian people. He emphasized that these sacrifices would not be in vain, suggesting their martyrdom plays a pivotal role in shaping the future world order.
He further argued that the killing of Iran's leaders and civilians, particularly children, has no logical basis and reflects the nature of a Western civilization he described as satanic. Dugin's comments underline his strong stance on the implications of Iran's struggles and the broader geopolitical context.
