Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed Ali Larijani as the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Larijani previously held this position from 15 August 2005 to 20 October 2007. His political career also includes serving as the speaker of the Iranian parliament from 2008 to 2020.
