Tehran: Administration spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani emphasizes the unity between the Iranian Armed Forces and the Foreign Ministry in defending the nation, with the former ensuring security and the latter advocating for the country's rights. Mohajerani highlighted this collaboration in a post on her X account on the anniversary of the beginning of the 12-day war initiated by Israel and the United States against Iran last year on June 13.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohajerani referenced a statement by the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who, at the onset of the war, declared that although the conflict was initiated by others, Iran would be the one to conclude it. She reiterated his words, "As the Martyred Leader said: 'They started this war, but we will bring it to an end,'" highlighting the joint role of the Armed Forces and the Foreign Ministry in defending Iran's security and rights.

Mohajerani further elaborated that negotiating from a position of strength is an extension of the national defense strategy. This statement comes in the wake of another conflict launched by Israel and the United States against Iran in late February this year, during which Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was assassinated in an airstrike on his office in Tehran on the first day of the war.
