Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has extended his congratulations to Mukhtar Tleuberdi on his reappointment as Kazakhstan's foreign minister, marking his return to the position after a three-year hiatus.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi conveyed his best wishes to Tleuberdi in a message on Friday, expressing hopes for his success in his new term. Tleuberdi, a distinguished Kazakh diplomat, initially held the office of foreign minister from 2019 until 2023. During the intervening years, he served as Kazakhstan's ambassador to Austria and represented the nation in various international organizations headquartered in Vienna.
