Tehran: Iran's first vice president hailed the Yemeni nation's recent victories and called on regional rulers to embrace rationality, overcome dependency, and unite under the flag of Islam.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in a post on his X account on Friday, Mohammad Reza Aref expressed his joy over the triumphs of the Yemeni people. He stated, "We are happy for the victories of the heroic Yemeni nation."

Aref further emphasized the importance of unity among regional leaders. He urged them to prioritize rationality and independence, stating, "Our message to the regional rulers, as always, is a call for rationality, overcoming dependency, and unity under the banner of Islam."

Highlighting the benefits of collaboration, Aref proposed the creation of a robust Islamic economic and political bloc. He noted that such a coalition, while respecting neighborly rights and fostering regional cohesion, would secure the interests of the Islamic Ummah.
