Kyrgyzstan: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has asserted that the United States must return to its commitments as outlined in the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi, during his meetings on the first day of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, stressed the Iranian nation's determination to secure its rights amidst aggressive actions by the United States. He highlighted the consequences of these actions in his discussions.

After the initial day of the summit in Kyrgyzstan, Araghchi remarked that the meetings were businesslike, focusing on cooperation opportunities in the economy and other sectors. He reiterated the Iranian stance against US aggressions, emphasizing Iran's resolve to maintain its rights.

Araghchi noted that discussions prominently featured the Islamabad memorandum of understanding, signed by the presidents of Iran and the US. He accused the US of violating the MoU and stressed that Washington must return to its commitments to resolve the situation.
