Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reiterated Iran's commitment to bolstering peace and stability through diplomatic engagements with neighboring countries following his meetings with delegations from Oman and Pakistan.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi shared on his X account that Iran is pursuing peace and stability through active diplomacy with its neighbors. He emphasized that the discussions with the Omani and Pakistani delegations highlighted the significance of regional solutions to current challenges.

Araghchi noted the proposed framework, which includes establishing a new corridor, joint demining operations, and future management strategies for the Strait of Hormuz, as a prime example of this collaborative approach. He stressed that regional diplomacy and cooperation among neighbor nations are vital components in the journey toward enhanced peace and stability.

In related developments, Araghchi engaged in separate telephone discussions with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir on Tuesday evening.
