Geneva: Mirjana Spoljaric, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has met with Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi in Geneva. In the meeting that took place on Monday, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi arrived in Geneva late on Sunday at the head of a diplomatic and expert delegation to participate in the second round of nuclear negotiations with the United States. Earlier this morning (local time), he met with Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), during which Iran's technical viewpoints regarding the indirect Iran-US nuclear negotiations were presented.

In addition to attending the nuclear negotiations, Araghchi is also scheduled to meet with the Swiss foreign minister tomorrow (Tuesday). Delivering a speech at the UN Conference on Disarmament has also been announced as part of Araghchi's agenda during this visit.
