Islamabad: Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi's visit to Islamabad on Monday aims to bolster the existing ties and cooperation between Iran and Pakistan. This visit is seen as a significant step in reinforcing the relationship between the two neighboring countries, which share a deep-rooted connection through history, culture, and religion.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi departed Tehran for Islamabad on Sunday. His visit is viewed as timely and crucial by Pakistan's ambassador to Tehran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Tipu highlighted that the visit represents an opportunity for both countries to exchange perspectives on international issues and reinforce bilateral cooperation. He commended the constructive and diplomatic stance of Iranian leaders in addressing South Asian tensions, particularly in light of the recent conflict between India and Pakistan over a deadly incident in Kashmir.
Tipu also indicated that both Tehran and Islamabad share similar positions in promoting regional peace. He reiterated Pakistan's recognition of the geopolitical significance of the region and its readiness to conduct a transparent and unbiased investigation into the Kashmir attack.
