Tehran: First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has declared that the United States is incapable of taking any new action in the ongoing economic situation. Aref emphasized that the current circumstances are largely a psychological operation intended to affect society and the market. He assured that the government has a strategy to counter this economic warfare, asserting that the situation is under control and conditions are expected to improve.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, a meeting of the government's economic team was held on Tuesday at the Central Bank. The meeting, chaired by First Vice President Aref, was convened to assess the latest developments in the foreign exchange market, ensure coordination among economic agencies, and implement necessary measures to combat the perceived economic threats.

The meeting at the Central Bank included prominent figures such as the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Minister of Justice, the Governor of the Central Bank, the Secretary of the Cabinet, and senior officials from economic agencies. Discussions focused on the latest status of the foreign exchange market, currency allocation across different sectors, the balance of trade, exports and imports, the supply of essential goods, and the rollout of the electronic voucher policy.
