Armed Forces in Full Readiness to Combat Threats: IRGC Deputy Commander

Mashhad: The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has emphasized that Iran's Armed Forces are fully prepared to combat any threat. Speaking at an event in the city of Mashhad, Brigadier General Ali Fadavi asserted that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic are experienced, skilled, and fully capable of fulfilling their responsibilities against any hostile enemy.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Fadavi highlighted that the enmity of 'global arrogance' and their various conspiracies have existed since the beginning of the Revolution, emphasizing that these hostilities are not a new phenomenon. Referring to the 12-day imposed war of aggression against Iran, he stated that 'The enemy did not achieve any of its objectives in the recent war, although it was a difficult war and we lost loved ones.'

The conflict began when Israel launched large-scale assaults against Iran on June 13. Washington also joined the Israeli war effort and bombed three of Iran's main nuclear facilities, claiming it was to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. The war was halted on June 24 after Israel was forced to unilaterally cease its aggression.
