Armed Forces Launch New Wave of Ballistic Missiles at Israel

Tehran: Iran has launched a new wave of ballistic missile strikes targeting Israel as part of its retaliatory operation dubbed True Promise 3. Iranian missiles hit Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Ashkelon on Sunday, escalating tensions in the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the missile barrage followed Israeli strikes on Tehran, marking the third day of aggressive actions against the Islamic Republic. The strikes resulted in heavy explosions in several Israeli cities and towns, with images depicting crowded bomb shelters in the northern regions.

In response to the Iranian missile attacks, the Israeli security cabinet announced an extension of the state of emergency until the end of June. Among the targets reportedly struck was a power station in the port city of Hadera.

The conflict intensified as the Israeli regime began its strikes inside Iranian territory overnight on Friday, targeting residential buildings in and near Tehran. The escalation included the assassination of top Iranian military officials in targeted strikes. Subsequently, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, appointed new military commanders and warned that life would become grim for Israel. Following these developments, Iran mounted punitive strikes deep inside Israel, affecting major cities including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.

Iranian officials have stated that their mission will persist as long as deemed necessary.
