Tehran: The Iranian Army has announced that it launched drone attacks on US military bases located in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in response to recent US actions, including an attack on a wedding in southern Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian Army stated that the strikes commenced early on Wednesday. The targets included US radar systems and troop positions at Al Dhafra and Al Minhad airbases in the UAE. Al Dhafra is identified as a critical operational center for the US military in the region, utilized for air operations, reconnaissance, surveillance, and logistical support.

The Iranian Army also reported that radar installations and troop gathering points at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain were struck with Arash attack drones. The Army condemned the US's actions, describing the attacks on residential areas and the targeting of a wedding ceremony as war crimes that reveal the "sinister nature of 'American human rights.'"

The Army's statement emphasized that the response to these alleged crimes would be both broad and far-reaching.
