Tehran: Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf has criticized America's actions, comparing them to those of Satan and labeling the United States as the Great Satan. In a message on his X account on Wednesday, Ghalibaf reacted to a recent US attack on Sirik, Hormozgan Province, which struck a wedding ceremony.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf highlighted incidents in Minab, Lamerd, and Kouhestak, where children were victims of attacks. He stated, "If a power acts like Satan, picks targets like Satan, and kills like Satan, it's Satan. Shields a junior Satan that does the same? It's THE Great Satan."

In what is described as a blatant violation of human rights, the US military is accused of bombing a residential home in Sirik. The airstrike reportedly turned the wedding celebration of a young Sunni couple into a scene of mourning. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least five people, including a child, and left dozens more injured.
