Tehran: Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kiumars Heidari, has highlighted the perpetual responsibility of protecting the nation’s independence and territorial integrity.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Heidari, speaking at a ceremony on Monday, expressed a deep sense of indebtedness to the families of martyrs for their patience and steadfastness. He affirmed that defending Iran’s independence and territorial integrity is an unwavering and eternal duty.

Heidari acknowledged the crucial role of martyrs in securing Iran’s sovereignty and strength, underlining that the spirit of defense and resistance will always be maintained by the country’s brave Army and its committed forces.

Heidari further emphasized the enduring significance of the martyrs, stating, “The martyrs are the guiding light of Iran’s honor and freedom, and their sacrifices ensure the nation’s lasting security today.”
