Tehran: Chief Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, has announced a significant advancement in Iran's military preparedness, emphasizing the country's progress in strategic weapons capabilities, particularly in missiles and drones. These remarks were made during the closing ceremony of the 26th Army Quran Competition in Mashhad. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jahanshahi highlighted that Iran's Armed Forces are now more equipped and ready in terms of capabilities, combat readiness, and operational reserves compared to the period before the US-Israeli conflict with Iran. He credited the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps for their advancements in strategic weaponry, which have significantly bolstered Iran's defense posture. The General elaborated on the deployment of Army Ground Force units across Iran's borders, covering regions including the northwest, west, southwest, northeast, east, and southeast. Additionally, he noted that approximately ten brigades are positioned along the Makran coast and the Sea of Oman. This strategic deployment, he asserted, has effectively deterred adversaries from initiating any ground operations against Iran. Jahanshahi also attributed the country's military success in the recent conflict to the unwavering faith and reliance on God exhibited by the Iranian forces. He believes these factors have been pivotal in enhancing Iran's capabilities and thwarting enemy plans.
