Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has characterized Israel as the most hated regime globally. “Today, the evil Zionist regime is the most despised and isolated regime in the world,” stated a message shared on X by KHAMENEI.IR, the official account of Ayatollah Khamenei on X and other social media platforms.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the post, released on Saturday in Persian, English, and Hebrew, included an image of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaking at the 80th UN General Assembly. The visual depicted rows of empty chairs as Netanyahu addressed the assembly, a testament to the walkouts by various delegations during his speech delivered on Friday.

Israel is increasingly facing international isolation due to its ongoing conflict in Gaza. Reports indicate that over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed due to attacks or have succumbed to starvation imposed by Israel since the conflict erupted on October 7, 2023. Gaza officials assert that the real number of casualties is significantly higher, with many individuals still trapped under debris.
